About our School:

Dakabin State High School, established in 1978, is situated on 60 acres of native bushland and is home to more than 1,000 students. About the Role:

  • Contribute to the provision of a quality educational service by assisting and supporting teachers with the preparation and enhancement of learning materials and associated activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in the delivery of classroom and extracurricular learning activities.
  • Assist with student supervision, learning support and wellbeing.
  • Prepare and maintain teaching resources, equipment and learning environments.
  • Perform administrative duties to support teaching and school operations.
  • Assist students with additional needs, including personal care where required and appropriately trained.
  • Work collaboratively with staff, students and families while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Undertake other duties as directed, consistent with the requirements of the role.
