About us:
Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service covers an area of 142,900 square kilometres. We go as far as Tully in the south, Cow Bay in the north and Croydon in the west. Based at Mission Beach Community Health Centre, you will enjoy working in a stunning coastal location while supporting the delivery of quality healthcare services across the Cassowary Coast region. In this role, you will perform daily food service duties with minimal supervision, contributing to the provision of safe, nutritious, and high-quality meals for consumers. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food safety, workplace health and safety, infection control, waste management, and compliance with Queensland Health standards, policies, and procedures. A commitment to quality service delivery, attention to detail, and the ability to meet required timeframes will be essential to your success in this role.
- Builds and maintains good working relationships by communicating openly and effectively with management, staff and clients.
- Participates within a team by effectively contributing to the Operational Service Department and the District's quality activities and processes.
- Participate in educational and in-service programs to build and update knowledge within your work area.
- Provide ethical decision making in the achievement of organisational goal.
