Your new role:

As a Junior/Senior House Officer, you'll provide high-quality clinical care while expanding your medical knowledge and experience in a supportive learning environment. Working closely with senior clinicians and multidisciplinary teams, you'll contribute to positive patient outcomes and continuously develop your professional practice.

About you:

We're looking for a motivated and compassionate medical practitioner who is committed to delivering excellent patient care while continuing to grow professionally.

  • Registered Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia (or ability gain Provisional Registration).
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication and decision-making skills.

The Process

This Expression of Interest collects a variety of information that will help identify potentially suitable applicants for future temporary employment opportunities (up to 18 months). If deemed suitable your details will remain in the Talent Pool for a period of three (3) months and you may be contacted by Metro South Health (MSH) at the time an opportunity arises matching your qualifications and/or experience.

MSH may request your participation in other recruitment selection processes (eg: interview, reference checks and preemployment checks)  to further determine suitability for appointment to a specific position.

Please note:

  • Submission of an EOI is not a guarantee that you will be offered employment with MSH.
  • By submitting an EOI, you will not automatically be considered for advertised vacancies. If you wish to be considered for a specific advertised vacancy at MSH, please submit you r application for the relevant vacancy via the Smartjobs.

The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII) is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency Department. We provide a range of services, including surgery, cardiology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, geriatric, respiratory and emergency medicine.

We're making our hospital bigger and better to make it easier for our growing community to get the health care they need. We'll have more beds, medical wards and expanded intensive care and emergency services planned to be opened by 2027.
