Your new role:

As a Clinical Nurse within our Operating Theatres, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering advanced specialist nursing care for patients undergoing Plastics, Reconstructive and Maxillo-Facial surgery. Working autonomously and collaboratively, you'll lead clinical practice, support education initiatives and contribute to continuous service improvement in a fast-paced tertiary environment.

  • Deliver expert Instrument and Circulating nursing care for complex perioperative patients.
  • Provide clinical leadership, mentorship and support to nursing staff and students.
  • Coordinate patient care, clinical decision-making and daily theatre operations.
  • Drive quality improvement, patient safety and evidence-based practice initiatives.
  • Support education, clinical facilitation and the professional development of colleagues.
  • Contribute to research, innovation and service improvements that enhance patient outcomes.

About you:

You're an experienced perioperative nurse with advanced clinical skills and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. You thrive in a collaborative environment, confidently lead others and are committed to continuous learning and clinical excellence.

  • Extensive experience in perioperative nursing, particularly Instrument and Circulating practice.
  • Advanced clinical assessment, critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and support multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice, quality improvement and patient safety.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills with a collaborative approach to care.
