Your work will help people access the housing and services they need to regain stability and rebuild their lives.

This is more than just a desk job - it's a chance to connect directly with people in need. You will be working in the field, meeting customers where they are, whether that's in the community, at outreach locations, or even with those who are rough sleeping. You'll also provide support over the phone, through correspondence and in person at the front counter. Every interaction is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference.

In this role, you will:
- Work closely with customers to understand their unique housing needs and provide tailored support.
- Approve high-priority social housing applications and ensure assessments are accurate and fair.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to improve outcomes for customers.
- Lead and support your team, managing workloads, addressing challenges and fostering a culture of safety and collaboration.
- Navigate complex and sometimes unpredictable situations with professionalism and care.

This role is challenging but incredibly rewarding. You will need to be adaptable, empathetic, and ready to handle changing conditions. You will also need to be comfortable with travel, including overnight stays for regional roles.

We're looking for someone who:
- Puts customers at the heart of everything they do and can build trust and understanding.
- Stays calm and balanced when managing competing demands or uncertainty.
- Shares their knowledge and experience to support and mentor others.
- Communicates clearly and listens actively to foster open and respectful dialogue.
- Brings expertise in service delivery and models ethical, culturally sensitive behaviour.

To succeed in this role, you will need a Class C driver's licence and a willingness to travel.
