Join the Children and Families team at State Library Queensland and help shape the future of Queensland's youngest learners.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional with strong project management capabilities to play a key role in delivering an innovative early childhood development initiative across five pilot communities in Queensland.

Working in partnership with the Queensland Brain Institute, this exciting program will use a place-based approach to support children's brain and language development, empowering families and communities to create lasting positive outcomes for children.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a groundbreaking project that combines research, community engagement, and early childhood development to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Queensland children and their families.

A key focus of this role will be coordinating project delivery, building strong stakeholder relationships, and fostering meaningful collaboration with local communities. You will work closely with partners to ensure the program is implemented effectively, responds to the unique needs of each community, and contributes to the development of scalable, evidence-based models that can inform early childhood initiatives across Queensland and nationally.


As this role supports communities across the state, regular intrastate travel will be required. This provides a unique opportunity to engage directly with diverse communities, build strong local partnerships, and contribute to impactful outcomes for children and families throughout Queensland.
