Join our team as a Natural Resource Support Officer, supporting the Vegetation Management Unit within a statewide team environment. You will provide administrative and customer support services, manage case processing and records, respond to enquiries, undertake financial and procurement activities and contribute to business improvement initiatives.

Our Land division are the stewards for 60% of the land in Queensland and we deliver a variety of land and property services across Queensland, including land and asset valuations; state land administration and on ground management surveying services; native title claims and compensation; Indigenous land services; vegetation management; place names and government land acquisitions. The Natural Resource Support Officer supports the Vegetation Management Unit within Natural Resource Regulation. Working as part of a statewide team, you will help deliver efficient administrative, financial and customer support services that contribute to the effective operation of vegetation management activities across Queensland. You will engage with internal and external clients, maintain records, manage tasks and support service delivery outcomes.

In this role, your day may involve processing cases, coordinating administrative activities, responding to enquiries, maintaining statutory records, supporting procurement activities and undertaking receipting, banking and account processing tasks. You will use departmental information systems to deliver accurate and timely services, assist clients via phone, email and counter services, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. You will also support general office administration, including mail handling, contractor liaison and office supplies management.

Success in this role comes from being a dependable team member who demonstrates attention to detail, strong customer service, sound communication skills and confidence using information systems and Microsoft Office applications. You will adapt to changing priorities, work collaboratively and contribute positively to achieving team objectives.
