About the Role:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Lead the school department in developing and implementing a shared educational vision that promotes high-quality learning outcomes and continuous improvement for all students.
- Foster an inclusive, socially just culture by setting high expectations for student achievement, staff performance, and professional excellence.
- Drive strategic, future-focused leadership through ongoing professional learning, innovation, and evidence-informed decision-making.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with students, families, government agencies, and the wider community to enhance educational opportunities and outcomes.
- Effectively manage the department's human, financial, curriculum, and physical resources while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and departmental priorities.
We are seeking an educator who:
- Has deep mathematical content knowledge
- Understands how students learn mathematics
- Enjoys designing curriculum, not simply delivering it
- Is excited by research and evidence-informed practice
- Can think strategically about Years 7-12 curriculum development
- Is able to inspire and coach teachers
- Values collaboration and continual improvement
- Believes every student is capable of mathematical success.
