What your day could look like

As a Graphic Design Officer, you'll help bring important messages to life through creative, engaging and accessible visual communication. Working closely with a supportive team and stakeholders across the organisation, you'll create high-quality design solutions that connect people with information, services and initiatives that make a difference.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

  • Designing impactful print, digital and web-based communications that engage diverse audiences.
  • Partnering with stakeholders to turn ideas into creative solutions that support organisational goals.
  • Developing brand-aligned resources and templates that improve consistency and communication quality.
  • Bringing fresh thinking and contemporary design approaches to campaigns, projects and publications.

Let's Talk About You

You're a creative and collaborative designer who enjoys transforming ideas into meaningful visual content. You balance creativity with attention to detail, value feedback and take pride in producing work that is both engaging and purposeful. Guided by compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage, you build positive relationships and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. You're motivated by the opportunity to create communications that inform, connect and inspire.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:

  • Demonstrated graphic design experience supported by a strong portfolio of work.
  • Proven ability to create high-quality print and digital materials using professional design software.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to incorporate feedback effectively.
  • Sound understanding of branding, visual storytelling and contemporary design trends.

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have formal design qualifications and experience in a government, corporate or healthcare environment.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is passionate about using creativity to make information accessible, strengthen connections and deliver meaningful outcomes for the community.

Together, your creativity and commitment to excellence will help deliver communications that inform, engage and create impact.
