The Health Workforce Division plays a vital role in supporting the workforce growth, retention, and sustainability of a skilled, diverse, and responsive workforce to meet Queensland's evolving healthcare needs. HWD's branches work collaboratively to enable Hospitals and Health Services to provide optimum levels of care, with a strong focus on rural, remote, and priority communities.

We are also looking for someone who has a high level of verbal and written communication, including the ability to effectively prepare briefings and reports of a substantial and complex nature, and to provide authoritative advice to senior department management, and to engage and liaise with a range of key stakeholders on these issues.
