About the Role:
- Contribute to the efficient and effective operation and environment of the site by providing a high level of cleaning support.
- Ensure that the duties prescribed for the position are completed to an acceptable standard as determined by their supervisor, in accordance with the approved school cleaning program.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning of classrooms, offices, toilets, sick bay, and outdoor areas.
- Maintain floors, windows, glass, furniture, and cleaning equipment.
- Remove rubbish, graffiti, cobwebs, and mildew.
- Operate school security systems and lock/unlock buildings.
- Report maintenance, safety, and security issues.
- Liaise with staff regarding cleaning supplies and assist visitors when required.
- Complete additional duties as directed by the Principal or Business Manager.
- Demonstrate teamwork, accountability, safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
