About the Role:

  • Contribute to the efficient and effective operation and environment of the site by providing a high level of cleaning support.
  • Ensure that the duties prescribed for the position are completed to an acceptable standard as determined by their supervisor, in accordance with the approved school cleaning program.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general cleaning of classrooms, offices, toilets, sick bay, and outdoor areas.
  • Maintain floors, windows, glass, furniture, and cleaning equipment.
  • Remove rubbish, graffiti, cobwebs, and mildew.
  • Operate school security systems and lock/unlock buildings.
  • Report maintenance, safety, and security issues.
  • Liaise with staff regarding cleaning supplies and assist visitors when required.
  • Complete additional duties as directed by the Principal or Business Manager.
  • Demonstrate teamwork, accountability, safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
