The Role

An opportunity has become available for a Physiotherapist (Rehabilitation) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

 You will

  • Deliver clinical services in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
  • Provide input into the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols.
  • Apply increasingly independent clinical judgement to more complex clinical decision making.
  • Work cooperatively and effectively within physiotherapy and multidisciplinary teams.

 About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

  • The possession of a tertiary degree in Physiotherapy.
  • Registration as a Physiotherapist with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  • Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B.
  • Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
  • Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
  • Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

  • Permanent full time
  • Base salary ranging from $80,015 - $116,189 per annum

Gold Coast Health Rehabilitation Physiotherapy Service provides patient focused, goal oriented care within a multidisciplinary team aimed at improving functional ability in patients with a range of conditions including acquired brain injury, spinal injury, neurological conditions, limb amputation, traumatic injuries, and post -surgery. Our service includes inpatient rehabilitation units and rehabilitation response teams at Robina and Gold Coast University Hospitals (GCUH) as well as Rehabilitation Outpatient Physiotherapy Department at GCUH.
