Mudgeeraba Creek State School is seeking a passionate curriculum expert to lead and develop consistent whole-school approaches to teaching and learning including planning, pedagogy and differentiation. The successful candidate will be able to work collaboratively with teaching staff and school leaders, be able to build capacity of school staff, provide high levels of support and be able to develop clear, documented processes to support teaching and learning school-wide. This is a temporary full-time position until 10 December 2027, unless otherwise determined.

About the Role:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to;

• Provide strategic leadership by developing and implementing a shared vision that drives excellence in curriculum delivery, innovation, and improved learning outcomes across the relevant curriculum area or whole-school program.
• Promote a culture of excellence and inclusion by embedding equitable and socially just practices, maintaining high expectations for student achievement and staff performance, and fostering continuous improvement.
• Build collaborative partnerships with students, families, colleagues, government agencies, and the wider community to strengthen engagement, wellbeing, and educational outcomes.
• Lead effective governance and resource management by overseeing curriculum, staffing, budgets, and facilities while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, departmental policies, and school priorities.
• Demonstrate future-focused leadership through strategic planning, professional learning, and the development of innovative practices that enhance teaching quality, staff capability, and student success.
