About us:
The Cairns and Hinterland Mental Health and ATOD Services is responsible for delivering mental health and ATOD services throughout the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service and for supporting other mental health and ATOD services in the surrounding Hospital and Health Services of Cape York, Torres Strait Northern Peninusula Area. Its primary objective is to ensure access to a comprehensive range of treatment and support services, clinical treatment, rehabilitation, disability support, as well as early intervention, and mental health prevention and promotion.

About your opportunity:
In this position you will….
- Provide a collaborative case management service, intake and referral role and acute care service to adults with identified mental health problems.
- Comply with contemporary human resource practices including occupational health and safety, employment equity, antidiscrimination and ethical behaviour.
- Identify and implement practice-based research and participate in staff education and development activities.
