About the Community Care Unit
The Bayside Community Care Unit is a residential rehabilitation service for consumers aged 18 – 65yo who are in recovery from mental illness and who require additional assistance to successfully reintegrate to community living. The Bayside CCU offers fully self-contained units and 24/7 rehabilitation support, including individual and group therapeutic and recovery focussed biopsychosocial interventions.
Once an individual makes the choice to enter the Bayside CCU, a partnership is formed between our service, the individual, their family and other key stakeholders. Together, rehabilitation goals are identified, a plan is developed to support achievement of those goals and regular reviews are conducted to assist the recovery pathway.
