About the role
The Electrician is responsible for efficient and cost effective electrical installations, maintenance and minor / new electrical works for the West Moreton Health District.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Experience and knowledge relating to the nominated trade, as it relates to large, major health care facilities or similar facilities.
- Experience and ability to lead, supervise, motivate and develop a team of trade staff and service contractors to achieve positive client and work area outcomes.
- Understanding of the centrality of customers in a service industry with the ability to establish and maintain relationships, take ownership of and resolve issues to achieve positive outcomes.
- Ability to communicate well across all levels of an organisation, with a wide range of stakeholders, maintain confidentiality, consult, negotiate and provide authoritative information on matters relating to their field of expertise. Communication must demonstrate good judgement and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to organise works tasks and projects independently, giving consideration to diverse priorities to meet deadlines and achieve high quality work outcomes.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Possession of a Queensland recognised Electrical Trade Qualification and licence and other required qualifications as stated on the role description.
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
