About the Role
Within this position you will work closely with a number of stakeholders to support our junior secondary students. There is a key focus on working with local primary schools to build and sustain a strategic partnership that supports students in a successful transition from primary to secondary.
The position also coordinates with school leaders to ensure the Guiding Principles of Junior Secondary are embedded with fidelity across the school. The successful applicant will also lead the school's preparation and administration of NAPLAN among a number of other key responsibilities.
Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Uphold the principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Active participants in life long learning and ongoing professional development
