Theodore Multipurpose Health Service is a close-knit rural facility providing essential healthcare to its local community. This 10-bed service delivers a broad range of care, including emergency, inpatient and outpatient services, residential aged care, and telehealth. About the role:
- Deliver advanced, patient-centred nursing care with a high level of clinical expertise, autonomy and sound clinical decision-making.
- Provide leadership within the clinical environment, promoting safe, high-quality care and service excellence.
- Coordinate and lead the multidisciplinary team, including acting as Shift Coordinator for the ward or unit.
- Support, supervise and mentor nursing staff and students to foster professional growth and a positive team culture.
- Drive continuous improvement through education, research, quality initiatives, and evaluation of clinical practice.
About you:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) through AHPRA is essential.
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications are highly desirable; or commitment to completing one within an agreed timeframe will be supported.
- Deliver advanced, person-centred clinical care using expert assessment, critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills.
- Demonstrate exceptional clinical leadership, professionalism and communication, creating a positive culture of accountability and excellence.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $139,252 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $57.48 - $61.55 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
