Business Manager Support Officer (AO3)

TAFE Queensland SkillsTech is looking for a motivated and highly organised Business Manager Support Officer to become the trusted right hand to our Business Manager and support teams delivering world-class trade and technical training across Queensland.
This role suits someone who loves variety, is proactive, enjoys supporting others while keeping things running smoothly and getting things done.
This is a full-time permanent position, reporting directly to the Business Manager.
SkillsTech Region frequently recruits for both short-term and long-term vacancies. This process will establish a suitability pool for up to 12 months, which may be used to fill future opportunities as they arise.
This position will be based primarily at Bracken Ridge however; you may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses.

How you will be assessed
Within the context of the role description above, the ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key capabilities:
- Demonstrated ability to provide high level, confidential and effective executive and administrative support services.
- Ability to communicate effectively, including developing rapport and maintaining positive and collaborative working partnerships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in the use of a range of computerised systems and applications relevant to the operations of the Region, including the ability to prepare routine correspondence and reports and enter, track, retrieve and utilise data to support Educational Delivery functions.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to effectively prioritise work, respond to changing circumstances, meet agreed timeframes and deliver quality outcomes.
- Proven ability to work both autonomously and effectively contribute to a high performing team, identifying opportunities for business improvement and proactively seeking and facilitating opportunities for self-development.
