Parliamentary Services is seeking a community-minded and proactive Casual Assistant Electorate Officer to support Bryson Head MP, Member for Callide, in delivering responsive and effective services to local constituents.

As a Casual Assistant Electorate Officer based in Biloela you'll be helping locals, whether that's farmers and small businesses, community groups or families navigate government systems, connect them with the right support, and push for real outcomes when it counts.

This position is based in Biloela and offers flexible casual hours based on operational requirements. It may suit someone seeking supplementary employment, a flexible work arrangement, or an opportunity to return to the workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with and manage enquiries from constituents, groups and organisations via phone, email, mail and face-to-face interactions.
• Prepare, draft and proof correspondence in reply to and on behalf of constituents and to ministers.
• Undertake research on a range of local, state and community issues
• Engage with constituents to understand matters of local importance.
• Assisting the Electorate Officer in providing direct confidential secretarial, executive, and administrative support to Mr Bryson Head MP.

You'll be part of a motivated team working alongside Bryson Head MP, contributing to meaningful outcomes for rural Queensland communities and industries.
