The Nurse Led Walk-in Clinic provides free, same-day care for adults and children over two years of age with a range of non-life-threatening illnesses and minor injuries. Offering timely assessment, treatment and referrals, the clinic improves access to healthcare while helping people receive the right care in the right place, at the right time. By delivering evidence-based, person-centred care, the service eases pressure on other healthcare providers, supports the community's changing health needs, and empowers patients to take an active role in their ongoing health and wellbeing.

About the role:
- Deliver advanced, autonomous nursing care for patients presenting with minor injuries and illnesses.
- Apply expert clinical judgement and critical thinking to provide safe, evidence-based, person-centred care.
- Coordinate patient care and provide clinical leadership, mentoring and support to the nursing team.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives through management of the clinic's quality portfolio.
- Work collaboratively with the Nurse Practitioner to assess, treat and manage patients within the Nurse-Led Walk-in Clinic governance framework.
About you:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (mandatory), with experience in emergency, acute care, minor injury/illness clinics, paediatrics or autonomous practice highly regarded.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical assessment, critical thinking and decision-making skills to deliver safe, evidence-based, person-centred care.
- Strong leadership, communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate care, mentor colleagues and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
- Commitment to professional development, clinical excellence and achieving high standards of patient care while effectively managing resources and service outcomes.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $101,654 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $57.48 - $61.55 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
