Hon. Ann Leahy, Member for Warrego, is seeking an enthusiastic Part-time permanent Assistant Electorate Officer for the Roma Office working each week on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to community engagement and provide quality administrative support.
Please note that the salary range listed is the Full-Time equivalent. Salary will be pro-rated for part time hours.
Key Objectives
- Provide flexible, reliable administrative support within the Roma Electorate Office.
- Assist with constituent engagement, enquiries and office operations.
- Support communications written and verbal.
Your Role
- Assist with responding to constituent enquiries in person, by phone, via professional letter and/or email.
- Contribute to drafting a variety of professional correspondence and preparing written materials.
- Provide general administrative support including data entry, filing and record management.
What We're Looking For
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work flexibly with changing tasks and priorities.
- Confident use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a small team.
