Following the extraordinary success of Queensland athletes at the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, we are now focused on delivering even more medal-winning moments through to Los Angeles 2028 and our home Games in 2032.

As a statutory body, QAS is progressing a major Digital Services transformation to establish a future-state operating model and transition to new Managed Service Provider and Managed Security Service Provider arrangements. This role will provide dedicated project management support to deliver this critical, time-sensitive program.

This role will provide dedicated project management support across the full program lifecycle, from operating model development and procurement readiness through the market process, transition and go-live, underpinned by strong governance, communication and change support.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and coordinate the day-to-day delivery of the QAS Digital Services operating model and sourcing project, including project planning, timelines, reporting, risks, issues and actions, to ensure agreed outcomes are delivered on time.
  • Support effective project governance by coordinating Steering Group meetings, preparing status reports, tracking decisions and maintaining key project documentation.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts and external advisers to coordinate inputs and deliverables across the operating model, procurement, service design, requirements and transition workstreams.
  • Coordinate and drive change management, communication and transition readiness activities to support adoption of the new Digital Services operating model and successful implementation of future MSP/MSSP arrangements.
  • Develop and maintain core project artefacts, including project plans, action registers, RAID logs, meeting papers, status updates, and implementation documentation.
  • Support development of the future-state Digital Services operating model, including current-state validation, requirements gathering, service design and definition of retained responsibilities
