About the facility:
Parklands Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) is a Queensland Health managed aged care service within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS) and is located in Townsville at the Kirwan campus. The facility provides care for 70 residents with 30 places for dementia care and 40 places for older persons who require care due to fragility and complex needs.

Competitive salary and benefits:
- Multiple positions, non-standard hours Nurse Grade 1, Band 1 and Nurse Grade 1, Band 2
- Casual rates: $44.02 to $48.20 p.h. (NG1-1)
- Casual rates: $47.64 to $49.03 p.h. (NG1-2)
About your opportunity:
The AIN is responsible for providing nursing care in a professional, safe and compassionate manner as a member of Eventide team. The AIN works under the direction of the of the Registered Nurse and this may be overseen by an Enrolled Nurse to assist in achieving service goals.
Requirements:
- Highly Desirable: Applicants who meet one of the following criteria are considered highly desirable:
- Hold a relevant Certificate III in Aged Care, Health Service Assistant or equivalent, or
- Successful completion of the first semester full-time equivalent Diploma of Nursing course including all theoretical and clinical competencies, or
- Successful completion of the first year full-time equivalent undergraduate Bachelor of Nursing course including all theoretical and clinical competencies
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted, including Aged Care Pre-Employment Checks and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) checks.
