Your new role:

As the Senior Pharmacist – Clinical Trials, you'll provide expert clinical pharmacy services that support the safe and effective delivery of clinical trials while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care and research outcomes. You will make a meaningful contribution by:

  • Delivering high-quality, evidence-based Pharmacy Clinical Trials services across Logan and Beaudesert Health Services.
  • Providing specialist clinical advice to patients, clinicians, researchers and external stakeholders.
  • Managing investigational medicines, including dispensing, accountability, storage, distribution and regulatory compliance.
  • Reviewing and supporting the implementation of new clinical trials, including assessing pharmacy resource requirements and collaborating with sponsors and investigators.
  • Leading quality improvement, service development and research initiatives to enhance Pharmacy Clinical Trials services.
  • Monitoring clinical practices and outcomes to ensure safe, effective and compliant service delivery.
  • Supervising, mentoring and supporting junior pharmacists, students and support staff.
  • Working collaboratively within multidisciplinary research and healthcare teams to deliver patient-centred care.

About you:

You are an experienced pharmacist with a passion for clinical research and delivering exceptional patient care. You thrive in a collaborative environment and bring:

  • Registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA and a Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience delivering advanced clinical pharmacy services, ideally within Clinical Trials.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical trial regulations, investigational medicines and evidence-based practice.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage confidently with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage complex clinical workloads while exercising sound clinical judgement and prioritisation skills.
  • Experience leading quality improvement initiatives and contributing to service development.
  • A commitment to mentoring, supervising and developing less experienced clinicians and students.
