About your role

As the Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) – Endoscopy, you'll provide advanced clinical expertise while leading improvements in patient care, service delivery and clinical governance.

In this role you will:

• Provide advanced clinical leadership across Endoscopy Services.
• Coordinate and optimise Endoscopy patient waitlist management.
• Lead evidence-based practice, quality improvement and service redesign.
• Support Nurse Led Clinics and patient education initiatives.
• Mentor, coach and develop nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor service performance, activity targets and key performance indicators.
• Develop and review clinical policies, procedures and work instructions.
• Collaborate with Metro South and statewide Endoscopy networks.
• Drive innovation to improve patient access, safety and clinical outcomes.
• Champion person-centred care across the Endoscopy service.

About you

You're an experienced Endoscopy clinician with exceptional leadership skills and a passion for improving patient outcomes.

You'll bring:

• Significant Endoscopy and Gastroenterology nursing experience.
• Advanced clinical assessment and critical decision-making skills.
• Strong understanding of GESIS and contemporary Endoscopy practice.
• Experience leading quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to manage Endoscopy waitlists and performance targets.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience mentoring, coaching and educating nursing teams.
• Ability to influence change across multidisciplinary environments.
• Commitment to research, innovation and continuous service improvement.
