About the work unit / facility:

The Townsville University Hospital Pysiotherapy Department is part of the Allied Health Service Division, providing physiotherapy services across inpatient, outpatient and domiciliary settings. The department delivers services across the continuum of care, with a focus on evidence-based practice, clinical excellence and positive patient outcomes.

Competitive salary and benefits:

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

  • Salary range: $144,991 to $151,289 p.a. (HP5)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

About your opportunity:

Make an impact in women's health as a Pysiotherapist - Advanced, delivering specialised clinical and consultancy services primarily within obstetrics and gynaecology, as well as continence services. As a key clinical resource, you will provide advanced advice, leadership and evidence-based care while contributing to service development, education and quality improvement across women's health physiotherapy.

Requirements:

  • Mandatory qualification in Physiotherapy and proof of registration (Physiotherapy Board of Australia)
  • Post Graduate Masters qualification, Tier 2 APA membership or equivalent is higly desirable.
  • Possession of a Class C driver's licence
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
  • Probation period may apply.
  • Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
