As a Senior Project Officer (Data Governance) within the Land Operations Support team, you will lead the development and implementation of governance arrangements that support the effective management and use of valuation data. Working collaboratively with stakeholders across government and industry, you will contribute to modernising land administration and ensuring compliance with legislative and contractual requirements.

In this role, you will undertake research and analysis to inform governance frameworks, assurance processes and policy improvements relating to valuation data. You will provide strategic advice on valuation data matters, manage the contract lifecycle for authorised data releases, and coordinate compliance and audit activities.You will prepare reports, briefing notes and correspondence, build strong stakeholder relationships, and provide recommendations to support informed decision-making by the Valuer-General and senior management. Success in the role will be demonstrated through effective governance, strong stakeholder engagement, sound judgement and the delivery of quality outcomes in a complex operating environment.

You will contribute to improving the management and use of valuation data while supporting the department's commitment to contemporary land administration and service excellence. A degree in law and experience negotiating and managing contracts would be highly regarded.
