About the role
The staff member in this role works closely with the Manager and Senior Data Management Officer within the Clinical Costing team. They are expected to possess, or develop, a sound understanding of maintenance processes and costing methodologies. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying and implementing quality improvement opportunities to enhance clinical costing outputs across West Moreton Hospital and Health Service (WMHHS).
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated knowledge, or ability to quickly acquire knowledge, of patient-level costing processes, including systems such as CostPro, PowerPerformance Manager (PPM), and related feeder systems and applications.
- Demonstrated analytical skills to interpret and analyse data, develop reports using Crystal, SQL and Intel Plus, and apply statistical and problem solving techniques in a clinical costing environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Understanding of, or ability to quickly learn, funding models (including activity based funding) and their alignment with clinical costing.
