The Rehabilitation Unit at Rockhampton Hospital is a dynamic and rewarding service dedicated to restoring independence, rebuilding confidence and helping patients achieve their lifestyle goals.

Based in a modern, purpose-built facility, our service features 16 inpatient beds, 15 Day Hospital places and provides around-the-clock inpatient care, alongside weekday ambulatory services. Our impact doesn't stop there—we also support rehabilitation outreach services at Capricorn Coast Hospital and Health Service and Mt Morgan Hospital, extending quality care across the region.

About you:

  • Are a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Hold postgraduate qualifications in your clinical specialty or are keen to continue developing your expertise (highly regarded but not essential).
  • Have experience creating a safe, quality-focused environment by following best practice, managing clinical risks and supporting positive patient outcomes.
  • Enjoy identifying opportunities to improve services and are committed to continuous quality improvement and evidence-based practice.

What we offer:

Total monthly remuneration value of up to $9,819 p.m. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $57.76 - $61.85 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
