Lead inclusive education at Nanango State School as Head of Special Education Services (H02).
This role is based at Nanango State School, supporting the primary schools and P-9 school within the Kingaroy South Cluster.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will drive the school priority areas of educational achievement, belonging and engagement. You will lead the Student Services team to promote an inclusive culture and support high-quality teaching and reasonable adjustments for students with disability.
This temporary full-time opportunity is available until 11 December 2026, unless otherwise determined.

Nanango State School is an Early Childhood to Year 6 school in the South Burnett, where high-quality teaching, strong community partnerships and a commitment to lifelong learning help every student achieve their potential.
About the Role
As the Head of Special Education Services, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and manage the Special Education Program, providing high-quality advice and support to improve outcomes for students with disability.
- Support school leaders and teachers to plan and implement effective reasonable adjustments and inclusive practices.
- Coordinate targeted teaching, case management and access to specialist services for students requiring additional support.
- Build staff capability through professional learning, coaching and guidance.
- Lead school-wide processes for the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) and contribute to whole-school improvement.
- Build strong partnerships with families, community organisations and government agencies, and manage program resources to achieve school priorities.
