Your new role:

Join the Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) and play a pivotal role in supporting senior leaders while driving efficient, high-quality administrative services across Metro South Health. This is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced executive administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys improving systems and processes.

  • Provide high-level executive and secretariat support to the CYMHS Nursing Director/Nurse Practitioner, Director of Community Services and Allied Health, and the broader Leadership Team.
  • Lead and coordinate key administrative functions including recruitment and onboarding, rostering workflows, referral management, SharePoint administration and business support processes.
  • Manage complex diaries, correspondence, meetings, projects and documentation while exercising initiative, sound judgement and maintaining confidentiality.

About you:

You are a highly organised and proactive administration professional with exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a complex healthcare environment. You build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and are committed to delivering outstanding customer service.

  • Demonstrated experience providing high-level executive or administrative support, with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, with experience preparing professional correspondence, coordinating meetings and supporting projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, electronic business systems and records management, with the ability to quickly learn Queensland Health systems and processes.
