The Nurse Led Walk in Clinic is changing the way our community accesses care. We provide free, convenient healthcare for adults and children aged over 2 years, offering assessment, treatment and advice for non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses.

Our team delivers compassionate, trauma-informed and women-focused care, helping people get the support they need when they need it. By bringing accessible healthcare closer to the community, we're helping improve long-term health outcomes and reducing pressure on hospital services.

About the role:

  • Use your advanced nursing skills and clinical expertise to assess, treat and support consumers with same-day healthcare needs.
  • Deliver expert nursing interventions for minor injuries, illnesses and urgent care needs within a supportive community setting.
  • Lead through evidence-based practice, sharing your knowledge and supporting the growth and development of others.
  • Contribute to service improvements by reviewing outcomes, driving quality initiatives and helping shape the future of community healthcare.

About you:

  • Hold current endorsement and registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
  • Have completed an NMBA-approved Nurse Practitioner program of study (or equivalent as determined by the NMBA).
  • Maintain ongoing endorsement requirements, including annual CPD related to prescribing, diagnostics, consultation and referral.
  • Bring experience in urgent care, emergency care, minor injuries and illnesses, community health, paediatrics or autonomous practice (highly regarded).

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $126,576 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $79.85-$83.37 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
