Reporting to the Manager, Queensland Patient Access Coordination Hub (QPACH), the Project Officer will provide support to QPACH to meet key deliverables, outcomes, KPIs and major objectives in relation to the core operations of QPACH.

Your key responsibilities:
- Facilitate the management of correspondence and other commitments for the team in line with priorities, which includes monitoring of important issues and follow up action as required.
- Use a wide range of systems to assist in the process of financial, human resource, travel and procurement requirements.
- Provide high quality Secretariat coordination including preparation and distribution of agendas, minutes and presentations, arranging resources and follow up actions as required.
- Support the implementation of projects, using Queensland Health project management methodologies.

- Proven ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment; managing multiple priorities to achieve required outcomes within tight deadlines in an environment of change.
- Be an effective team member, willing to learn and actively participate in a high performing team by contributing to the quality improvement of operating procedures and checking of outputs.
- Proven ability to utilise a high degree of initiative, decision making skills and negotiation skills and reliability in operating independently with minimal guidance and direction.
- Demonstrated ability and experience to maintain confidentiality.
