The role:
Delivery Services Branch implements digital solutions, new services and new technology that underpin and enhance health service delivery. This role will oversee the successful delivery of large scale, complex Information Management (IM) and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) programs and projects by ensuring they are completed successfully within agreed performance criteria to enable enhanced health service delivery.
This role will be responsible for leading a large ICT Infrastructure Program to deliver success. The Program will establish the technology infrastructure required to deliver accessible, equitable and innovative services, to support Queenslanders in becoming the healthiest people in the world.
Are you right for this role?
You will be skilled in high level leadership, conceptualisation and design of programs comprising of multiple large scale, complex and high-risk ICT projects. You will require high level knowledge and application of program and project management methodologies. To be successful in the role, you will have demonstrated experience in managing a major program budget, high level program/project management skills, with the ability to achieve successful program outcomes. The role requires the proven ability to lead, manage and mentor multiple multi-disciplinary program and project teams. While also developing effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal applicant will demonstrate high level negotiation, consultation, facilitation and written and oral communication skills for use in a complex project environment with recent experience leading a complex Clinical Imaging or Vendor Neutral Archive project.
