Brisbane Bayside State College is a strong school community with enduring relationships developed through intellectual and creative endeavours, supportive conversations and the celebration of differences. 

The Pedagogy Coach works collaboratively with the Leadership Team to strengthen teaching practice and improve student outcomes through high-quality instructional coaching and professional learning.

The successful applicant will support the implementation of the school's pedagogical framework and action plan, build teacher capability through targeted, evidence-informed coaching, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement across the college.

During this acting period, the successful applicant will lead the college's New and Beginning Teacher Program. This includes coordinating induction, mentoring and professional learning for early career teachers, facilitating classroom observations and instructional coaching, supporting teacher accreditation requirements, and working collaboratively with the Leadership Team to strengthen pedagogical practice across the school.

  • Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland. For more information regarding registration requirements, please CLICK HERE.
  • In addition to registration, teachers working in Education and Care Services (including State Delivered Kindergarten programs) require an exemption card issued by Blue Card Services. For more information on blue cards and exemption cards, please CLICK HERE.
