Your new role:
As an Executive Support Officer, you will provide high-level, confidential support to the Director of Nursing and Midwifery Professional Capability and Governance and senior leaders across the EDNM Division. You will coordinate executive administration, correspondence, governance, reporting and business support, using your organisation, discretion and strong stakeholder skills to drive effective operational and strategic outcomes across Metro South Health.
About you:
You are an organised, proactive and adaptable professional who excels at providing high-level executive support, managing competing priorities and delivering accurate, confidential and responsive outcomes.
- Executive support – Experience managing complex diaries, inboxes, meetings and executive correspondence.
- Communication & relationships – Highly developed communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with senior leaders and diverse stakeholders.
- Governance & detail – Strong attention to detail with sound knowledge of confidentiality, records management and compliance requirements.
- Judgement & initiative – Strong problem-solving skills, able to anticipate needs, resolve issues and escalate appropriately.
- Digital capability – Proficient in Microsoft Office and corporate systems, with experience supporting reporting and business administration.

About the Executive Director Nursing and Midwifery Division:
The Executive Director Nursing and Midwifery (EDNM) Division provides strategic leadership, professional governance and support for Nursing and Midwifery across Metro South Health. The Division drives key professional priorities, ensuring alignment with MSH strategy, statewide direction, legislation, practice standards and quality requirements, while responding to emerging priorities and government commitments across the professions.
