As an Operational Services Officer, you will contribute to the delivery of safe, high-quality healthcare services by providing essential non-clinical support throughout our facilities. Successful applicants may be considered for vacancies across:
🧹 Cleaning Services - Maintain clean, safe and hygienic healthcare environments while following infection control standards.
🍽️ Food Services - Assist with meal preparation, distribution and food service operations in line with food safety requirements.
🩺 Patient Services - Support patient comfort and wellbeing through meal delivery, bed making and maintaining patient care areas.
🚑 Patient Transport Services - Safely transport patients throughout the facility
🧺 Linen Services - Distribution and replenishment of clean linen.
♻️ Waste Services - Collect and dispose of general, clinical and recyclable waste safely.
General Responsibilities Across All Operational Services Roles:
- Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and safe manual handling practices.
- Contribute to a respectful, inclusive and culturally safe workplace.
- Support service delivery across a variety of work areas, facilities and shift patterns.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Requirements:
- No mandatory qualifications are required.
- Ability to undertake physical tasks including frequent standing, walking, lifting and manual handling.
- Availability to work shifts across a 24/7 roster where required.
- Successful completion of pre-employment screening, including criminal history checks.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role and evidence of vaccination or immunity is required.
