About us:

The Gladstone Integrated Services Team provides community based adult and child and youth mental health services to Gladstone and Surrounding areas. The team comprises of the extended hours Mental Health Intake Team, Adult Community Mental Health team, Step-Up-Step Down Mental Health Service, Child and Youth Mental Health Team and Consultation Liaison Officer. 

The Team Manager/Nurse Manager works closely with MIND Australia to support the collaborative care of consumers receiving care within the Step-Up-Step-Down facility.

About the role:

  • Provide strong operational direction aligned with organisational priorities, while strengthening service integration and agreements across CQMHAODS.
  • Foster strong relationships across internal and external services to improve collaboration, transitions of care, access and consumer outcomes.
  • Strategically manage workforce planning, recruitment, development and retention, alongside financial resources, to ensure sustainable and effective service delivery.
  • Provide clinical leadership, identify service gaps, strengthen pathways and champion evidence-based practice, research and innovative approaches to improve access and quality of care.
  • Monitor performance, quality and safety, proactively manage risks and support a workplace where consumers, staff and visitors are safe and well supported.

About you:

Hold qualifications and registration with the appropriate registration authority to practice in any of the following:

  • Occupational Therapy
  • Psychology
  • Social Work
  • Registered Nurse

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $172,615 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $73.12 - $76.30 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
