About the role

We're seeking an experienced and motivated legal practitioner with strong knowledge of family, criminal and/or civil law and a genuine commitment to improving access to justice for vulnerable Queenslanders. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to explain complex legal issues clearly and effectively to a diverse range of clients, including those with complex needs, using trauma-informed practice principles. You will have sound analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong legal drafting skills and the capacity to prepare high-quality written advice, submissions and legal resources. A collaborative approach, commitment to continuous improvement and the ability to support and develop others through mentoring, coaching and constructive feedback will be highly regarded.
