How you'll contribute:

As Executive Director, Economic Policy you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-level policy advice and driving Queensland's economic policy agenda. In this influential leadership position, you will:

  • Lead the negotiation, development and implementation of whole-of-government economic policies and strategic directions approved by Cabinet and the Cabinet Budget Review Committee.
  • Provide strategic leadership to multidisciplinary policy teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and high performance.
  • Drive coordinated whole-of-government, cross-jurisdictional and industry responses to complex and emerging economic policy issues.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Queensland Treasury, government agencies, industry and key stakeholders to advance the Government's strategic priorities.
