An exciting opportunity is now available for a Temp Senior Advisor (Governance) within South Coast Region. In the role you will provide high level advice and guidance to managers, team leaders and team members through effective leadership and management of governance services across the region. In particular, you will lead and manage the governance structure for major projects, such as the M1 Upgrade program within the Region.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities required:
• Applies specialist knowledge and skills in Governance: Demonstrated experience working within governance frameworks within a project / program environment. Leading implementation of governance activities.
• Manages internal and external relationships: Builds and maintains productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Communicates in a way that is appropriate for the situation, and that promotes trust, respect and integrity. Manages conflict and negotiates outcomes without compromising relationships.
• Displays rigour in advice: Provides advice and makes decisions that are rigorously considered and supported by a clear rationale. Looks beyond the obvious and persists with analysis and solutions. Makes timely decisions.
• Drives continuous improvement: Identifies and implements improved ways of doing things.
• Manages performance: Breaks down projects into objectives and goals and accurately scopes out length and difficulty of tasks. Organises delivery of the required work program.
