The Olympic and Paralympic Games Office (OPGO) is the front door of the Queensland Government on Games matters.
As the Director, Games Business Operations, you will lead a small team responsible for business improvement, digital enablement, governance, and workforce planning across OPGO. Working closely with Corporate Services and senior leaders, you will ensure OPGO has the systems, processes, and capability to deliver in a dynamic and evolving environment.
We're looking for an authentic and people-focused leader who leads through influence, collaboration and trust. You'll bring together digital innovation, workforce planning and operational excellence to drive meaningful outcomes, build strong partnerships, and create a high-performing, operation environment.
In this role, you will.
• Lead the business operations function, ensuring the systems, processes and support services underpinning Games delivery are effective, efficient, and fit for purpose.
• Champion digital enablement initiatives that improve collaboration, information sharing, reporting, automation, and productivity across OPGO and with key delivery partners.
• Identify and implement business improvement opportunities, leveraging technology and innovative ways of working to enhance team performance and operational effectiveness.
• Lead workforce planning and recruitment activities to ensure OPGO has the right capability, capacity, and structure to deliver now and into the future.
• Develop and support a high-performing workforce, building capability, fostering collaboration and embedding consistent business practices across OPGO.
