We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Head of Department to join our Leadership team and lead our Mathematics Faculty.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the department, ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning, contributing to the strategic development of the curriculum and have a demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with
staff and students.
This is a temporary full-time position to commence from 6 October 2026 until 17 September 2027, unless otherwise determined.

Your opportunity:
As Head of Department, you will:
- Lead Mathematics curriculum priorities aligned with school and departmental initiatives and vision.
- Develop the quality of teaching and learning and use faculty data to drive strategic planning and improvement.
- Lead a shared educational vision focused on quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance and embed socially just practices.
- Build effective partnerships with students, parents, government agencies and community groups.
- Provide futures-oriented, strategic leadership and manage human, financial, facilities and curriculum resources to achieve departmental goals.
