Safe Food Production Queensland is seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation through a new era of strategic transformation and innovation. This is a rare opportunity to shape Queensland's national leadership in food safety, influencing the future of regulatory excellence, public health, and industry competitiveness.
As CEO, you will sit at the intersection of public trust, food production, and market innovation. Reporting to the Chair and Board, you will lead the development and implementation of a transformational strategy designed to strengthen Safe Food Production Queensland's regulatory impact and position Queensland as a national leader in food safety assurance.
You will:
- Drive strategic transformation to position Safe Food Production Queensland for future challenges and opportunities.
- Lead organisational, structural and cultural evolution to deliver purpose-driven impact.
- Influence government, industry and national stakeholders to shape food safety reform and innovation.
Safe Food Production Queensland is a statutory body established under the Food Production (Safety) Act 2000. Its mission is to promote and protect food safety in primary production and processing, ensuring Queensland's produce meets national standards and earns the confidence of consumers and markets alike.
This role demands a visionary, strategic and influential leader with a record of executive success in complex organisations. You will bring exceptional governance and financial acumen, as well as deep stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to inspire cultural alignment and performance.
