Laidley District State School is seeking a Head of Special Education Services (HO1) to lead the Special Education Program.

This is a temporary full-time position to commence from 6 October 2026 until 11 December 2026, unless otherwise determined.

Your opportunity:

As Head of Special Education Services, you will lead the Special Education Program and support the school to deliver effective, inclusive education practices.

You will work with school leaders, teachers, teacher aides, families and external agencies to coordinate support, strengthen staff capability and ensure students receive appropriate adjustments and targeted support to maximise their engagement, wellbeing and learning outcomes.
