About the role:
- Provide advanced nursing care for a designated patient population, including the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care, with a focus on patients with complex healthcare needs.
- Practise autonomously and provide clinical leadership, guidance and support to Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and other non-registered nursing personnel to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.
- Contribute to service improvement through quality activities, clinical audits, education and the application of evidence-based practice, while ensuring compliance with professional standards, policies and legislative requirements.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teams, lead ward or unit activities, manage portfolio responsibilities and assume professional leadership responsibilities in the absence of senior nursing staff.
About you:
- You are a Registered Nurse with current registration through the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) via AHPRA and ideally hold or are committed to completing a relevant postgraduate qualification.
- You demonstrate strong clinical leadership skills and the ability to support, mentor and develop nursing staff while contributing positively to professional nursing practice with confidence and integrity.
- You have advanced clinical assessment, problem-solving and care coordination skills, with the ability to plan, implement and evaluate person-centred care within a complex healthcare environment.
- You possess highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build effective relationships and collaborate with colleagues, patients, families and key stakeholders.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $139,931 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $57.76 - $61.85 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
