The Role

An opportunity has become available for a Team Leader (Rehabilitation Response Team) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

Please note: This role can also be filled by a Nurse Manager – Team Leader or an Occupational Therapist -Team Leader, Physiotherapist - Team Leader, Psychologist - Team Leader, Social Worker - Team Leader Speech Pathologist - Team Leader as per attached Role Descriptions

You will

• Apply advanced clinical knowledge and skills in the assessment of rehabilitation inpatients
• Act as a resource for advanced consultation and advice on the delivery of rehabilitation therapy and planning of treatment
• Influence clinical practice through leading clinical governance systems and processes
• Demonstrate high-level managerial knowledge and skills to provide operational management

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

• Possession of a tertiary degree in an Allied Health profession – Refer to Role Description
• AHPRA Registration
• Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
• Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
• Driver Licence
• Paid Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
• Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary

• Permanent full time
• Base salary ranging from $144,991 - $152,685 per annum

The Rehabilitation Response team is a specialised, multi-disciplinary service that follows a shared care model of care to provide inreach rehabilitation services for inpatients in an acute ward setting.
