The Regional Business Support Officer team within the Department of Customer Services, Open Data and Small and Family Business provides high standard business services to support the Service Centre Operations to achieve its objectives and outcomes for the Queensland community. As a key member of the team, you will coordinate and deliver a range of quality business support and administrative activities including other project activities as required.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Regional Business Support Officer, you will:
• Provide timely and accurate advice to regional staff, including but not limited to functions such as corporate card administration, financial elements (SAP, invoicing, accounts payable, variances, accruals), business directory.
• Coordinate travel approval, requests and bookings for the region.
• Contribute to the coordination of budget reporting requirements for the region.
• Business support to the Regional Leadership Team including meeting management support (venue, catering, resources) and/or adhoc project requirements.
• Business support for the Regional Management Office, including but not limited to functions such as stationery requests, DMS/archiving, security and ID, issues of travel related cab charge, payment of accounts.
• Maintain Regional Management Office profile on TMR database (Share Point) through thorough understanding of products and services.
• Actively participate in a working environment, support quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination workplace health and safety, and ethical behaviour.
