This includes:
  • Oversee and maintain critical project information, including milestones and expenditure, within departmental systems such as SAP, ensuring data accuracy, currency, and compliance with departmental reporting and audit standards.
  • Engaging and leading multidisciplinary project teams of external project managers, consultants, and delivery partners to successfully deliver multiple, concurrent project initiatives across the state, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, governance requirements, departmental standards, and delivery timeframes.
  • Establish, foster, and sustain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, such as school leaders, regional officers, contractors, and community representatives. Promote open and effective communication channels to ensure clarity, collaboration, and a consistently high level of client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Preparing coherent and politically sensitive reports, correspondence and submissions to key stakeholders and clients. This includes: the Minister, Director-General, ISD executive and other departmental stakeholders.
